Knights of the 21st Century represents men from various local Bible teaching churches, with different occupations, and from all ages and backgrounds. We desire to see men from the Lebanon Valley step up together and hold each other to a higher standard of manhood that changes their lives and of their families, friends, churches, communities and workplaces. We want to stand against the Hollywood sitcom mindset that says men are simple minded, selfish, egotistical bafoons, and believe God has designed men for so much more than the cultural norm presents. This men’s curriculum will challenge men to journey towards an authentic manhood that this lost world is sorely missing! God has blessed us greatly and “Knights” has become a growing movement that has many active groups throughout the United States, as well the Philippines, South Africa, and Australia. We have also seen great success locally as we have launched Knights at New Covenant Christian School and at several prisons including the Lebanon County Correctional Facility. We are honored to be able to present this transformational experience to men of Lebanon County at the Lebanon Valley YMCA. |

Knights of the 21st Century is a Men’s Ministry Study Series that organizations, prisons and churches are using to motivate men toward integrity and true manhood. “Knights” is a Non-denominational yet unapologetically Christian men’s curriculum. The results are men who are holding each other to a higher standard, and according to their reports and those of grateful family members, are changing the world around them. Ask yourself... This material is unique as it uses a Knighthood metaphor grounded in Biblical principles that calls men to nobility in their thoughts and actions. Knights of the 21st Century motivates and challenges men to reach their full potential in all areas of life. During each weekly gathering, we begin with 15 minutes of refreshments and hosting time, providing the men with some welcome entertainment and laughter after a hard day’s work. We open our workbooks and proceed to the live lesson taught by Steve Sabol, Bob Maurer and Michael. We then conclude with the men breaking up into small groups (campfires). Through Campfires, men have an opportunity to internalize and apply the lesson in a casual open discussion. Over several weeks, the men often form strong bonds of trust and accountability that they carry with them beyond the weekly meetings. Upon finishing each year, the men are encouraged to complete and turn in a Knighthood Plan, which is a list of personal goals designed to be used as an accountability tool for that year. For those who complete the 24-week journey, we hold a graduation ceremony that their friends and families can attend, honoring each man by presenting him with a Dog Tag and Knights’ Certificate.
